12-YEAR PIANIST DMITRY MAIBORODA ON HIS WAY TO THE TOP

Few adult musicians can boast playing with one of the world’s best orchestras – the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. But young Dima can. His brilliant performance of Mozart’s 21st concerto won the hearts of Vienna residents and millions of TV audiences!

At first glance, Dmitry Maiboroda looks an ordinary guy. Like all other kids his age he is fond of computer games and adores football. Still, he is different, and first of all, because he studies at the musical school for endowed children at the Moscow Conservatory and even in this midst he stands out as a kid with an extraordinary talent. He is far ahead of his classmates in the ability to learn with utmost ease the most complicated of literary works and in large quantities at that. Even so, he is not a robot who produces maximum sound in the shortest possible time but a deeply thinking and fairly advanced for his age musician. And in view of his innate bonuses - a natural charm and artistry – it becomes clear that the pianist has every potential to grow into a top performer over time.

Dmitry Maiboroda is regularly invited to take part in prestigious concerts, including abroad. One of such events was held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, where Dmitry played at a ceremony to honour the prominent Russian musician Vladimir Spivakov with the Artist of the World Title. On general acknowledgment, his performance of a Fantasy to Rossini’s “Barber of Seville” served a beautiful decoration to the event.
