A series of programmes for learners of Russian will soon be placed on our web-site. There will be six courses each consisting of 20 lessons on the average.
You will be able to listen to our Russian lessons in Real Audio and to read the main topics on the screen. Each lesson has a vocabulary and commentaries and grammar exercises that will help you to improve your knowledge.
 Extracts from works by Alexander Pushkin,Anton Chekhov, Mikhail Lermontov, Ivan Turgenev and other Russian authors will be included in the lessons. You will be able to listen to music by Peter Tchaikovsky and Mikhail Glinka. The lessons will help you learn Russian folk songs and love songs, we will tell you about customs and traditions of people in Russia. The lessons will be useful for beginners and will help more advanced students to improve their knowledge of the Russian language.

RUSSIAN IN DIALOGUES
This course for beginners consists of 25 lessons. Even if your knowledge of the language is more advanced we suggest that you follow this course which will help you systematize and improve your knowledge. Extracts from Pushkin's works such as The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish are included in the course.
RUSSIAN FOR BUSINESSMEN
This course consists of 25 lessons. The aim is to help businessmen learn Russian. The lessons include dialogues - a visit to a partner, a firm, an enterprise, an exposition, and material on negotiations, contracts and news-conferences.
RUSSIAN FOR YOU
This course of 20 lessons is for beginners as well as for more advanced students. The aim is to acquaint a student with Russia, Russian cultural life and specific features of Russian. Each lesson consists of four parts: "That's the way Russians speak", "Do you know that...?", "Reading Russian classics of the 19th and the 20th centuries", and "Let's sing Russian songs". 
RUSSIAN THEATRE
This course consists of 7 lessons is for those who are interested in the classics of Russian literature. We have prepared an abridged version of the play The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov. The cast consists of well-known actors of the Moscow Maly Academic Theatre. A summary and translation of key words and phrases are given before each act. 
RUSSIAN FOR  TOURISTS
This feature is made up of 30 editions which speak of Russia and its capital city of Moscow. Those who are just beginning to learn Russian and those who have a good command of Russian will be sure to appreciate them.The feature focuses on the architectural monuments of Moscow, places frequented by Russian writers, the theaters of the Russian capital and the composers' view of Moscow. It shows a special liking for dialogs and short interviews with visitors to Moscow and songs by popular Russian composers.
TALKING ABOUT THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE
This feature consists of 20 lessons meant for a wide audience of primarily students of Slavic languages, translators and those who teach Russian.It gives you an insight into the origins of the Russian language and the evolution of Russian, tells you a few things about the Russian alphabet and those who devised it, and introduces you to the Russian names and some language traditions.
